How it got there

Solid granite, an 18-ton hammer, and a 360-degree view.

There was no soil to dig. The shell had to be hammered out of bedrock before a single piece of steel could be tied, and every yard of spoil had to come back down the hill.

It is the job we point at when someone asks whether we can build on their lot. Usually the answer is yes — it is just a question of what is underneath, and we will tell you that before you sign anything.
